Santa Rita Hills Wine Tour 10:30 am Departure from Alisal Ranch 11:00 am Arrive to Peake Ranch Winery for guided Journey of the Grape Vineyard Walk, Wine Tasting and Lunch Join us for a hike through the vineyard, taking in the beautiful views of the surrounding Sta. Rita Hills, while drinking wine from the grapes around you. Your Peake Ranch wine guide will share the story of the Journey of the Grape from vine to barrel. This experience is followed by a private wine tasting on the outdoor terrace at the winery paired with a gourmet box lunch. There’s time to make a visit to the original and historic Sanford tasting room as seen in the movie “Sideways” and a visit to the historic adobe. 1:00 pm Departure from Peake Ranch Vineyards 1:30 pm Arrive to Pence Vineyards & Winery Enjoy a tasting of Pence Estate Wines at a relaxed pace at the Pond House which is situated at the foot of a sparking pond and surrounded by the Pence vineyards. The wines selected for The Estate Tasting Experience features wines typically blended from various vineyard blocks. The conversation will focus on demonstrating how balance is achieved by marrying wine lots that express different aspects of the estate. The tasting is paired with an elevated cheese and charcuterie board. 3:30 pm Depart Pence Vineyards & Winery 4:00 pm Arrival back to the Alisal Ranch NOTE: if you are booking for you and a guest, then choose quantity 2 during booking
